THE OTAGO ELEVEN.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —The selectors of the Otago team appear to have overlooked L. Uttley (’Varsity) when choosing the players for practice in view of the forthcoming match with Canterbury. After seeing this player bat in the last two club matches I am satisfied that he is quite the equal of his brother as a batsman, arid, as he has capabilities as a bowler, I think it will be a mistake if he is not given consideration when the next Otago team conies to be selected.—l am, etc., Spectator. January 21.
