The Governor-General, Lord Bledig* loe, opened the Nelson A. and P. Association’s Show on Saturday afternoon. A large gathering accorded their Excellencies a warm' welcome. Mr Dort Max, president of the association, testified to the Governor-General’s valuable assistance to all branches of the primary industries. Lord Bledisloe, in the course, of an impressive _address,stressed the importance of maintaining the highest standard in all our produce. On the call of Mr H. Atmore, M.P., cheers were given for Lord and Lady Bledisloe* .
