ACCIDENT AT RELIGIOUS CEREMONY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. CALCUTTA, September- 25. Five men and a boy were terribly injured at a Hindu religious ceremony of walking through fire in a Madras suburb. Ninety participated, walking through a shallow trench, 30ft long and 4ft wide, and strewn with glowing embers. The temple priest who headed the ceremony dropped a bowl containing flower offerings over which five fell and were badly burned. They are in a urecarious condition.
