OTAGO ASSOCIATION The monthly meeting of the committee, of the Otago Early Settlers’ Association was held yesterday. There were present: Messrs J. J. Mallard (president, in the chair), W. J. Strong, E. W. Knight, W. Nicolson, E. Webster, AV! H. Eerens, D. J. Calder, James Brown. R. S. J. A. Macdonald, John Hope, H. Baron, C. C. Robertson, and A. E. C'hcyne. George Cook, Dunedin—Copper trade token. > Dugald Paterson, Dunedin—brained photograph of the rock in the Lower Harbour, Otago Heads, reported to have been the spot at which the whalers originally landed in the 1830’s, and of the cottage which formerly stood opposite it.
