RETURNED SOLDIERS' AFFAIRS

EXECUTIVE MEETING The executive of the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association met last night, Mr A. S. Falconer presiding. Twenty-two new members and four honorary members were nominated and one transfer inwards and two transfers outwards were approved. It was reported that two members had been lost by death. The figures in the membership campaign were reported to be: Dunedin, I, Christchurch, 1,692. It was stated that the association’s canvasser (Mr K. G. Richdale) had visited Clinton from September C to September 8, and had been instrumental in obtaining thirteen new members. The Secretary reported that the Hospital Visiting Committee (Mesdames 11. J. Davies and J. Cardno) had visited the hospital on alternate Mondays. At the present time there were a large number of returned soldiers in hospital, .
