FREE STATE ARMY PLANE CRASHES TWO LIVES LOST. Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright DUBLIN, September 10. (Received September 11, at 10 a.m..) A Free State army aeroplane crashed into Mr Justice Meredith’s garden and caught fire. Lieutenant Russell aud Private Toomey were burned to death and Sergeant Canavan seriously injured. Lieutenant Russell’s brother, Colonel Russell, pilots the Irish Sweep plane in the Centenary Race.
