OTAGO ASSOCIATION The Otago Hockey Association held its meeting l in the Y.M.C.A. Rooms last night. Mr M'Queen was in the chair, and Messrs W. Warrington, K. Brown* R. Twose, 15. Calder, F. Brebnor, H. Pickup, 0. Dey, 13. W. G. Densem, E. Gallon, and the secretary •were in attendance. „ A motion was brought before thq committee that letters of thanks be sent to all those who had assisted by billeting and transport during the 'week-end for the entertainment of the Australian and New Zealand teamsPermission was . granted the High School Old Boys for their annual match against University First Grade and High School Second Grade at Tonga Park on Saturday. The Otago team to play North Otago at OanlarU next Saturday, September 15, was approved as follows: —Backs— H. Pickup, 0. Whitburn, C. Voitch, E. Densem, D. Ward - (captain), L. Gurr; forwards —0. Dey, L.‘Silver, W. Martin, H. Gray, C. Mayston; reserves, R. Butler and G. Silver. 1. Brebner and E. Rennick were Hot available. Any player unable to travel is requested to notify the secretary immediately. it was decided to present all cups and representative caps at the nest meeting of the association. The question of junior representatives *(vas brought up, and ; it ivas loit to a committee to report to next moating.
