BEQUESTS T» METHGDIST CHURCH Legacies to the Methodist Church totalling £4OO are contained in the will of Charles William Gibbs, a fish merchant, whose estate for probate purposes has been assessed at ■ under £3,500. The following are legacies;— £IOO for the home missions of the Methodist Church of New Zealand. £IOO for the foreign missions of the church. £IOO for the South Island Methodist Orphanage and Children’s Home at Papanui, Christchurch. £IOO to the North-east Valley and Woodhaugh Methodist Church for the general purposes of the North-east Valley branch of the church.
