He had gone away for the week-end. and at the local inn ho found a man to show him the sights. After spending a pleasant morning, the guide and the ■visitor were returning to the hotel when they met a very old man—the oldest inhabitant of the village. One hundred and two 1 ” exclaimed the visitor on hearing of the old man a age. “ One hundred and two! Well, I imagine that’s quite a record. I suppose tho townspeople are mighty proud ot him.” “ I dunno,” responded the native. “ His record ain’t so much. He ain’t done nothin’ in this town ’copt grow old, an’ it took him a darn long time to do that.”
