At Randwick, on the heavy steeplechase grass, Golden Wings showed dash over two furlongs. Golden Hair, who is making excellent progress, sprinted three furlongs nicely. Caliente and Marcus/Cicero falloped a good four fur ones. The [asquerader and Shatter bowled over six furlonge, and Closing Time and Limarch gave an excellent showing over the same distance. Silver Scorn is rather backward, hut is in good health. Nightly trotted, but was not lame. Custodian is still in the stable. At Victoria Park Peter Pan and Deputy Ruler ran five furlongs. Peter Pan is thriving, but Deupty Ruler is pot so good. . , . At Rosebery Oro ran a record hye furlongs in Imin 3sec. / Topical, Silver King, and Rogilla did sound gallops over seven furlongs. . Advice has been received that irejgilla, the 1930 A.J.C. Derby winner, was seriously injured at Gulgong stud. Ho broke both forelegs, and will probablv be destroyed. The Canterbury Park races were again postponed owing to light ram. The New Zealander Playground has recovered from his injury and is again jn light work.
