BOOTH LAWS TO BE AMENDED [Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, July 30. It is learned that the Government has agreed to introduce in the Electoral Act Amending Bill provision which will have the effect of allowing a blind person, in registering hjs vote, to take into the polling booth a relative or friend to mark tho ballot paper for him. In the past the deputy-returning officer accompanied the blind person into the booth and marked the paper for him.
