BLENHEIM AIR CRASH
BIG CLAIM BY VICTIM’S WIFE AERO CLUB AND COMPANY SUED [Pas Uarrip Pmm Awociatibh.J BLENHEIM, July 30. In the Supremo Court this morning the case was called in which Winifred Gertrude Maincjonqld, of Christchurch and VVaiau, is proceeding against the Marlborough Aero Club and New Zealand Airways Ltd. (Tjmaru) for £5,000 damages, arising out of the death of her. husband, Edgar Thomas Maindonald, of Reef ton, who lost his life as the result of a crash at the. Blenheim aerodrome on September 24 of last year. On behalf of New Zealand Airways application was made for leave to take the evidence in Australia of Squadronleader Trevor Watts White, and Mr Justice Reed made an order accordingly. The matter will be called again next sessions.
