The endorsed candidates are Major-general C. H. Brand, Mr J. W. Leckie, arid Mr W. G. Gibson. The leader and deputy-leader of the Federal Parliamentary: Country Party announced that they will stand behind' Senator Elliott, and express surprise , and regret _ that Mr Gibson has accepted nomination.’
