KING'S SILVER JUBILEE
SPECIAL CELEBRATIONS CONTEMPLATED DOMINIONS COMMUNICATED WITH Pre* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May IC. (Received May 17, at 12.30 p.m.) It is understood that Whitehall has communicated privately with the Governors of the dominions and colonies mentioning the King’s silver jubilee accession in 1935, for which something special in the way of celebrations is contemplated, and suggesting that Premiers may wish to be in London for the occasion. Well-informed sources say that there is no mention of an official Imperial Conference simultaneously with the celebrations, but it is recognised that if all the Premiers were in London there would inevitably' be a tendency to engage in conversation.
