trophy match arranged June 16 was accepted as the date for the Otago-Aucklaud match for the F.A. trophy at Auckland by the Management Committee of the Otago Football Association last night. Mr A. Sharpe presided. The Auckland Association replied that it had considered Otago’s suggestion that the match be played on June 2. The annual match with the Navy was fixed for June 4, and the association considered that the receipts would suffer if the fixtures were held so close together. June 16 was suggested. It was decided to accept the date. Mr ]?. S. Romeril’s offer of his services in the training of the Otago team was accepted with thanks. Air J. Simpson (selector) said that ho proposed to make a departure in selecting the team. In the past eighteen players had been selected to go into training, and the team had been announced at an early date. Twelve players to go to Auckland would be selected, and the eleven would not be announced till tbe day of the match. CHATHAM CUP ENTRIES. Entries for the Chatham Cup were forwarded by the Northern and Maori Hill Clubs. Entries closed to-day. UNFINANCIAL PLAYERS. The New Zealand Council reported that clubs should be asked to forward to associations at the end of the season a list of unfinancial members and the money owing. Unless the list was sent in no claims for money in the following seasons would be recognised. The Secretary (Mr A. W. Sinclair) said this rule would he helpful to the association. Clubs are to be circularised. NO ALLOWANCES. Advice was received from the New Zealand Council that no allowances would be made for matches for the F.A. Trophy, Brown Shield, and Peter Dawson Cup.
