BELLEKNOWES CLUB The second qualifying rounds of the senior and-junior championships' were played on Saturday afternoon, but the strong wind which blow no doubt accounted for the' fact That tho majority of the scores'were not so good as those in the first round. In the stroke handicap event, played in conjunction with these events, D. Gollan with 69—10—59, J.-Cartwright 76—17—59, and A. Jefferson 81—22 59 tied for first place. In the replay Jefferson was the winner. .

OTAGO CLUB A four-ball competition was played on the. Balmacewen Links on Saturday afternoon, the winners being J. 1!. Laidlaw and G. Gallaway with a good score of 10 up. The best scores were; J. R.
