TECHNICAL OLD BOYS v. UNIVERSITY B. The Oval was in a very bad state, hut this did not prevent Old Boys from giving a good display. The forward line played with cohesion, the Silver brothers combining well on the right wing. The goals were obtained by L. Silver and Weavers. Harris, who turned out for his old team, played a briliant game, saving’his side time and again. The ’Varsity eleven were unfortunate on many occasions, chiefly through too much solo play and misplacing of the hall. Bremner, full-hack, and Bickerstaff, goalie, played soundly for the Blues, and were instrumental in the score not being greater than it was. 'The Technical forwards wore unfortunate in having insufficient support from their halves, especially when they wore in scoring positions. The referees were H. Sew Hoy and A.
