ST. PATRICK’S SOCIAL CLUB
The ninth annual meeting of St. Patrick’s Social Club, South Dunedin, was held recently, Mr J. Kerr presiding over a largo attendance of members. The debating and literary section had been particularly successful, crowning a busy and interesting season by gaining third place in a field of twelve clubs at the annual Easter tournament of the Catholic clubs in New Zealand. The election of office-bearers for the ensuing year resulted as follows: Patron, Monsignor Delany; spiritual director, Father M'Devitt; president, Mr J. Kerr; vice-president, Mr R. Baugbeu ; hon. secretary. Mr T. Rowlands ; hon. auditor. Mr TV. Fox; General Committee—Messrs J. Corcoran , C Pearson. C. Southern, T. Treaty, and J. White.
