WETHERSTONES GOLD MINING
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —’A circular has been sent to the shareholders of the Wetherstones Gold Mining Company asking them to take up debentures. This circular contains little information as to the possibilities of the mine being successful, and we shareholders do not know if it is wm-th while supporting it further, or is it a case of sending -good money after bad. I think that the directors should try to give more information as to the values so far obtained and the prospects; also something more than a bare statement by Mr J. W. Scurr as to the realised value of the plant should be given. He puts it as £13,650. This appears to me to be a pretty stiff valuation. Personally I shall not put any more money into the concern without more information, and' I know other shareholders feel the same.—l am, etc. Shareholder.May 12.
