Three feet of water is swirling through many homes in the low-lying parts of Lisin ore, and about fifty families have left. At Richmond the river is 24ft above its normal levfcl. The entire coast of Now South Wales has been thoroughly ‘drenched, and there has scarcely been a day without rain in the past fortnight. RIVERS UP IN QUEENSLAND. SYDNEY, May 10. (Received May 10, at 10 a.m.) The danger of serious floods on the Richmond River has passed, the weather having improved suddenly. All creeks and rivers on the south coast of Queensland remain in flood, and traffic is dislocated in a number of districts, while on the north coast of Queensland considerable damage has been caused to sugar and banana plantations by a severe gale.
