BRITAIN AND POLAND PREPARATIONS FOR AGREEMENT (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. RUGBY, May 8. Colonel D. J. Colville (Parliamentary Secretary for Overseas Trade) states that tho "reports of the various delegates in tho trade mission to Poland are being considered in connection with the preparations for negotiations for an Anglo-Polish trade agreement. It was recently announced that the Westinghouso Brake and Saxby Signal Company had concluded a contract with the Polish Government for £4,900,000 in connection with the fittings for brakes on tho Polish State railways. Other important contracts involving £2,000,000 have recently been secured in Poland by British firms. BRITAIN AND TURKEY (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 8. Dr E. L. Burgiu (Under-Secretary for Trade) informed the House of Commons that tlie Government is proceeding as rapidly as possible with consideration of the trade situation between Turkey and Britain, although he was not in a position at present to make any statement.
