NOVEL COMEDY
ZASU AND SUM FOR STRAND Two startling innovations are offered in the laughable Universal comedy, ‘ Love, Honour, and Oh, Baby!’ which will begin to-morrow at the Strand. The first is the work of Slim Summerville, who co-starrcd with Zasu Pitts, emerges as a dominating, lasttalking young man, in contrast to his roles as the easy-going, bashtul, and always slouching comedian. The second is the superb direction ol Eddie Buzzed, the Broadway comedian who has turned director. Through a definite technique, he makes the audience feel that they are on the screen, sharing in the tun with the players. The storv is different from anything in which "that leading comedy team, Summerville and Pitts, have yet appeared. The laughs come every lew seconds, making it one of their best efforts. Miss Pitts is a filing clerk who, to get business for Summerville, her lawyer lover, tries compromising herself with a vegetarian banker who always tries to take girls who work lor him to Rochester. .. A satirical trial results, in which Summerville, cast as an arch liar, proves that all his enemies are liars and leaves the impression that he is a truthful man.
