HEAVY SEAS
WANGANELLA DELAYED [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 9. A heavy southerly, accompanied by high seas, delayed the Wanganella, which arrived last night. She was to have berthed at 7 a.m. to-day, but the high seas in the harbour made it difficult, and the tug Toia had to assist her. She was tied up an hour late, and with her bow to the south for the first time during the seventeen months that she has been calling here.
