WEATHER FORECAST. An- intense anti-cyclone extends from Tasmania to southern New Zealand. A cyclone has developed in the north Tasman Sea. Forecast: Moderate to strong southerly winds, backing to easterly, some passing showers on the coast, but weather mainly fine, with cold temperatures and inland frosts; seas rather rough. JOHN’S CHANGED ITINERARY. due to continuous rain since Monday at Lyttelton, the John’s departure has been delayed. The vessel is now due at this port on Friday, and will sail the same day for northern ports. TARANAKI LEAVES FRIDAY.
