QUALIFIED AS "HABITUAL”
JUDGE WARNS PRISONER [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, May 2.Found guilty on two charges of receiving and on a charge of breaking and entering with intent to commit theft, James Perry was to-day sentenced by /Mr' Justice Reed to two years’ imprisonment. Perry admitted that he had not long come out of prison after serving a long sentence. His Honour said that the prisoner had qualified to be declared an habitual criminal. He did not feel disposed to do that on this occasion, but he warned Perry that he was unlikely to avoid it should he come before the court again.
