GREEN ISLAND QUEEN CARNIVAL
Last Monday evening the Green Island School Queen Carnival Committee met to receive Iho final payments which would decide the position of the various queens, the result being ; —• Standard 4, Valmai Wilkinson, 1. Standard 5, Nancy i Miiume, 2. Standard li, Gertrude Anderson, Standard 2, Jean Maxwell, 4. Standard 0, Jessie Thompson, 5. Standard I, ivy Gore. B. Infant-room, Peggy Johnston, 7. The winners received the hearty congratulations of the large crowd of interested people present. The crowning ceremony will he held on May 18 in tlie Green Island Town Hall. The Queen* Carnival has been successful financially beyond all expectations.
