PARADE SERVICE AT MOSGIEL
A parade service was held at Mdsgiel last Sunday morning,, when members of the Returned Soldiers’ Association headed by. the Taieri Pipe Band, attended the Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Hugh Graham, in welcoming the members, expressed his personal pleasure at being privileged to address them. His theme was entitled “ Christian Patriotism ” based on the text “ Honour all men; love the brotherhood ; fpar God; honour the King.” The preacher applied these principles to the problems ,of the present ■ day, and showed that patriotism on these lines would create, an' inte-Imjberial rivalry, not for military supremacy, but in the task of building a better world.
