COLOMBO WINS AGAIN LONDON, May 2. (Received May 3, at 10 a.m.) The 2,000 Guineas Stakes, Im, resulted : COLOMBO (Manna —Lady Nairue), 3yrs 1 Easton * 2 Badmddin 3 Twelve started. Won by a length; length and a-half. The King was present at Newmarket to see the race for the Two Thousand Guineas, which was the first of the flat season’s classic events. It was won by Lord Glanely’s unbeaten Colombo, which has now won nine successive races and is favourite for the Derby. Colombo’s starting price was the shortest for the race within memory. Mr R. M. Strassburger’s Easton was second, and the Aga Khan’s Badruddin third.
