ORDERS DISOBEYED

(Received May 3, at 9.40 a.m.) The Prefect of Rome closed thirteen shops for disobeying Signor Mussolini’s order that food prices must be lowered in order to compensate the workers for the recent wage cuts. Shops were similarly closed in Vicenza, Milan, Siena, Naples, and elsewhere.
