• DESIGN FOR LIVING ’ FOR REGENT Yet another of the wonderful plays by Noel Coward has been successfully transformed to the screen in ‘ Design for Living,’ the main picture on an entertaining programme to be shown for the first time at the Regent Theatre on Friday. To interpret this exceptional production a worthy cast was absolutely necessary, and among the prominent players selected were Fredric_ March, who will be remembered for his excellent portrayal in ‘ Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde ’ and ‘ Manslaughter,’ Gary Cooper, Mariam Hopkins, and Edward Everett Horton (“ A Bedtime Story ’). The celebrated director Ernst Lubitsch further enhances his reputation in Ibis production.
