TWO-MILE WALK RECORD
| Pkk United Press Association.l NAPIER, March 11. The New Zealand two-mile walk record of 14mm Pi 3-usec was broken by Usee by J. Driscoll, of Napier, at tbo Caledonian sports held at Napier on Saturday. The previous record was established by A. Brady on April 10, 1890, at Auckland Driscoll s time was 13min 58 3-ssec. Ho covered the first half-mile in 3inin Bscc, the mile in 6mm 42sec, one mile and a-Walf in 10mm 28sec, and the final half-mile in dinin 30 3-ssec.
