"NEW ZEALAND DAY"
CEREMONY IN LONDON Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, February 6. The mayor and sheriffs drove in state to attend a special service at St. Lawrence Jewry to commemorate “ New Zealand Day,” at which the Rev. Walter Besley preached. After the service Admiral Sir Lionel Halsey unfurled a silk New Zealand flag, presented to the church by New Zealand women in London. Sir James Parr welcomed the guests at a subsequent reception at the City Carlton Club.
