Centenarians are more common in Bulgaria than in most countries; just now there are 158 Bulgarians who claim to be over 10p years of ago. Of this number, only four are unmarried, eighty-five are men and seventy-three women. Over the Odds: “What a life!” moaned the much-married bookmaker, “ laying the odds all day, and now come home and have to lay the linoleum.”
