MAGISTRATE’S COURT
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.V DEFAULT CASES. Judgment (with costs) was given fop the plaintiffs in the following cases Homsley Brothers v. D. Jack, £2 1* 3d, goods; Jeffery Ltd. y. R. A. Tapper Ltd. (Christchurch), £73 10s sd, goods; G. A. Findlay and Co,Ltd. v. James Smith (Drummond), £lO 9s, goods; Stanton Bros. Ltd. y. A. M'Mullan (Hokitika), £1 5s Bd, goods; Robert Wilkinson v. B. 11. Moss, £l6 16s, arrears in rent. JUDGMENT SUMMONS. lan Williams was ordered to pay the Safety Parking and Service Station Ltd. £4 7s sd, with 10s costs, in de. fault five days’ imprisonment. PLAINTIFF NONSUITED. A. M. Hope proceeded against Cecil Donaldson in a claim for £1 15s 9d, allegedly due for goods supplied to the defendant and money lent to him by the plaintiff. Mr Dawson appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr Carson for the defendant. The defence was a complete denial that the goods wore purchased or that the money was lent. After hearing the evidence His Worship nonsuited the plaintiff.
