The flagship Dorsetshire will fire a royal salute when it meets the Carnarvon Castle at sea, and again fire a salute as Prince George steps ashore. Cape Town will be lavishly decorated. There will be forty-six halts in the 4,000 miles tour of six and a-half weeks. The Prince will be introduced to every aspect of South African life.
