HUNGER STRIKE FOR HIGHER WAGES Press Asiociafcion—By Telegraph—Copyright PRAGUE, February 3. A hunger strike among 500 miners in the north Bohemian pits is extending to those underground. They refuse to touch the food sent down by their families, and state that they_ are determined to die before abandoning their wage demands. Some are suffering from hunger convulsions. Negotiations are continuing. UNDERGROUND STRIKE ENDED. PRAGUE, February 4The underground hunger strike has ended. The miners have left the pits and are continuing the strike above ground.
