GERMAN WIRELESS STATION
SHORT WAVE SERVICE NAZI PROPAGANDA Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, February 4. (Received February 5, at 9 a.m.) The Berlin correspondent of ‘ The Times ’ says that the German world broadcasting short wave zone service, modelled on the Empire station at Daventry, opened on February 1. It has so far four zones—North America, South America, the Far East, and Africa. The purpose of the station is to bring Nazism to the ears of Germans overseas and counteract antagonistic news about Nazism in Germany. There will be a daily two-hour service to each zone, including news in German, Spanish, and English.—London ‘ Times ’ Cable.
