(Received February 5, at 9 a.m.) ‘ Reynolds’s News ’ says that as a result of the Singapore conference it is expected that the Falklauds will be converted into a gigantic fortified refuelling station. Singapore and the Falklands will become the key points of future British naval strategy, enabling the Pacific Fleet to protect British and Australian interests.
