SUNDAY SERVICES
At First Church the Rev. W. Allen Stevely will preach in the morning on ‘ Mountains in Scales,’ and his evening subject will be ‘ Glory in Urey.’ Mr Rowland Dunbar will sing the solo ‘ A Benediction.’ Miss Pearl Westland, L.A.8., will be the organist. The Rev. D. C. Herron will conduct both services in Knox Church to-morrow.
The preacher in St. Stephen’s Church will be the Rev. Thomas Miller. The subject at the evening service will bo ‘ Do Evolution and the Bible Agree?’ The Rev. H. E. Bellh'ouse will conduct both services in Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street, preaching in the morning on ‘ The Gift of the Morning Star,’ and in the evening on ‘ The True Spiritualism.’ At the latter service Miss Florence Pacey will sing the solo ‘ Cast Thy Burden,.’ and the choir will render an anthem. Communion will be celebrated at the close. The preacher at the Methodist Central Mission will be the Rev. G. H. Goodman. In the evening Mr Goodman will preach on ‘Outsiders Who Ought to be Insiders.’ The soloist ' will be Mr J-. E. Davies. At St. Kilda Methodist Church the Rev. Percy Paris will conduct the services, preaching in the morning on ‘ All the World’s a School’ and in tho evening ‘ A Talk on Evolution.’
, The Rev/ Albert Mead will conduct the services at the Moray Place Congregational Church, his subjects being ‘ The Cleavage of Rivers ’ and ‘ The Perfecting of the Faithful’, in the morning and evening respectively. Mr Le Gal will render a violin solo at the evening service. At tho Hanover Street Baptist Church the Rev. E. S. Tuckwell will conduct the morning service, which will be followed by communion. In the evening Dr J. J. North, principal of the Baptist College, Auckland, will- preach, his subject being ‘ The Christ of St. Paul.’ Miss Beth Ritchie will sing ‘ How Lovely are Thy Dwellings,’ and the anthem will be ‘ O Gladsome Light.’ Tho Rev. H. E. Edridge has returned to Dunedin’ and will* conduct* the services m the Caversham Baptist Church, the topic at 11 a.m. being ‘ Arise, Let Us Go Hence.’ A communion service will follow. 6.30. ‘ Our Marching Orders.’ First Church of Christ Scientist will conduct services in Allbell Chambers, 134 Stuart street, to-morrow. The subject for the morning and evening services will be
