VISITING NEW ZEALAND
NEW SOUTH WALES FARMERS GOVERNOR IN PARTY Prew Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, February 2. The Governor (Sir Philip Game) and Lady Game and over sixty New South Wales farmers and their wives are among the passengers by the Monowai, which sailed at 4.15 for Wellington. They will visit the scenic resorts and inspect agricultural and pastoral industries in various districts. At an informal luncheon tq-day Mr Hugh Main, the State Minister for Agriculture, said he hoped the younger men among the' tourists would bring back useful knowledge of how things are done and how improvements were possible here; Mr L. J. Schmitt, the New Zealand Government trade representative, said arrangements had been made which would enable the visitors to see the most in the least possible time. They would have an opportunity to study New Zealand methods, and constructive criticism of these would be welcomed. The Department of Agriculture in New Zealand would take charge of the party bn its arrival. A later message stated that the Monowai anchored near the Heads, presumably because of some minor defect. She expected to sail at 8 p.m.
