The course for Bachelor of Home Science provides a thorough training in the Sciences, and is designed to fit young women to teach in High Schools (or to prepare them for' Advanced Study and Scientific ReS Diploma Course has recently been reorganised to permit specialisation in the field of work desired. CLOTHING: Preparing for positions in which Dressmaking, Interior Decoration, and Arts and Crafts are basic. 111. TEACHING COURSE; Preparing skilled teachers for Technical Colleges, Manual Training Centres, and Private Schools. TV. Classes are held in Elementary Harmony, Harmony and Advanced Harmony, Counterpoint and Advanced Counterpoint, Double Counterpoint, Cann and Fugue, Form and Analysis, Orchestration, History of Music,' Musical, Appreciation. Special attention is drawn to the class in Elementary Harmony, which covers the requirements of students preparing for the qualifying paper for Diplomas issued by the Associated Board and the Rudiments Examination of Trinity College. The class in form and analysis covers tho growth of form in Music from its earliest beginnings to tho Operas of Wagner. In addition to the Degree of- Bachelor of Music, the University of New Zealand has instituted a Diploma in Music. Particulars of the fees, etc., may be obtained from the Registrar.
