HUTTON—POTTS-WEBB. The wedding took place at St, John’s Church; Invercargill, on Saturday afternoon, of Marion, second daughter of Mr and Mrs Leonard Webb, of Gladstone, and Ronald Macgregor, second twin son of the late Alexander Cummings Hutton-Potts and of Mrs Hut-ton-Potts, of Victoria avenue, Invercargill. The church was decorated with chiffon daisies, red gladioli, and cream roses. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Cyprian Webb, cousin of the bride, assisted by Archbishop Lush. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a dress of deep cream satin, diagonally cut, flaring from the hips. The V-neckecl bodice was draped to form a cape falling almost to the elbow. The veil of old Honiton lace was worn well back with a peak falling to the right and held at the nape of the rteck with cream velvet flowers. She carried a shower bouquet of deep cream roses. The bride was attended by Miss Frances Russell and her nieces, Judith and Louise Hunt. Miss Russell wore a frock of deep cream organdie with a flowered pattern of green, buttercup yellow and red, a flared skirt rucked at.the hem, a tight-fitting bodice uith rucked sleeves,, and sash of green and yellow velvet. Her picture hat was of tuscan hemp trimmed with organdie flowers matching the trimmings in her dress. She had organdie mittens and carried a bouquet of roses. The two nieces wore champagne organdie dresses with two flared frills at the foot and round the armhole, moss green sashes, and ribbon bands in the hair. They wore chains of wild daisies round the neck, and carried Victorian posies. The bridegroom was attended by Mr Hugh Macdonald, of Christchurch, and Messrs Hugh Russell and Jack Chisholm acted as ushers. Mr Charles Gray presided at the organ. . After the service a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents. Mrs Webb received the guests wearing a black crepe de chine dress patterned in white and lemon, black georgette coat, and a hat of black shiny straw. Her bouquet was of bronze-tinted (lowers. The bridegroom’s mother wore a frock of black ■ trimmed with grey, a black and grey hat, and a bouquet of red carnations. For travelling the bride wore a frock of crinkled crepe in fuchsia trimmed with grey, and a grey hat, and looked very smart.
