BISHOP TALBOT Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, January 30. (Received January 31, at 2 p.m.) The death is announced of Bishop Edward Stuart Talbot. [Bishop Talbot was born in 1844 and was ordained in 1870. He was the first warden of Koble College, Oxford, where he remained until 1889, when he became vicar of Leeds. In 1894 he was consecrated Bishop of Rochester, in 1905 Bishop of Southwark, and in 1911 Bishop of Winchester. Talbot House (Toe. H.) was named after the bishop's son, G. W. L. Talbot, who was killed in the war.]
