REQUESTS FOLLOW SPECIAL ‘ BROADCAST [Pen United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, January 18., When Rear-admiral Byrd was in Wellington last month a special broadcast to America was arranged, in w;hich tho Postmaster-General took part, delivering a special message to the people of America. Evidence that the broadcast was greatly appreciated is provided in a number of letters received from Americans in all walks of life. These are typically American, and in some cases the writers have not hesitated to make requests of the Minister, including flags, stamps, and endeavours to locate missing relatives.
