THURSDAY, JANUARY 18. (Before Mr J. R. Bartholomew, S.M.) . DEFAULT CASES. Judgment (with costs) was given for the plaintiffs in the following cases:— W. B. Lambert v. C. L. Agnew, £4 Is, goods; Peninsula County Council v. Walter John Lewis (Portobello), £7 17s 2d, rates; John Edmond Ltd. v. J. B. A. Smith, £2O Is 7dj goods; Charles Begg and Co. Ltd. v. H. G. Shouler (Christchurch), £3 15s, balance due on gramophone; Cadbury, Fry, Hudson Ltd. v. Thomas T. Gleeson (Blenheim), £4 12s 6d, goods; Peninsula jCounty Council v. Charlotte Toogood, £5 6s 2d, rates. ORDER FOR POSSESSION. An order for possession of a tenement in George street on or before January 25 was made in favour of the Public Trustee against Harriet Braithwaite. Judgment for £2 17s 5d (arrears in rent) was also entered. v JUDGMENT SUMMONS. Thomas Rutherford was ordered to pay the Reliable Loan and Investment Corporation Ltd. £5 10s, with costs (10s), in default six days’ imprisonment.
