(Received January 16, at 1.5 p.m.) The conference of International Birth Control advocates here heard Professor Warren Thompson (Miami University) declare that Japan, because of her uncontrolled growth of population, had only begun her imperialistic adventures. He mentioned the Philippines and the British and Dutch Pacific colonies as likely potential goals for her excess population. Professor Thompson termed Italy and Germany as other likely “ trouble spots,” due to:the desire "for territorial expansion.
