SOUTH DUNEDIN UNEMPLOYED ASSOCIATION.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Kindly allow me space to put the position of the Dance Committee of the above .association clearly before the general public and our dance patrons, in fairness to them and ourselves also. In the/Star’ of Saturday 13th inst., there appeared two reports in the unemployed column, one from the South Dunedin Unemployment Association’s Dance Committee and one from the No. 4 District; Social Committee. Anyone reading these, the way they, were published, would regard them as both referring to, one body, whereas w© are two distinct organisations, and _in fairness to' ourselves I have been instructed to point out this fact to th© public in general and to our patrons in particular. We- are in no way connected with each other:- The South Dunedin Unemployed Association runs its weekly dance on a Tuesday every week, while the No. 4 Social Committee holds its dance; every second Thursday, which''will soon be altered, I believe, to every Thursday, and, alsoievery Saturday eveing.—l am, etc. / W. G. Taylor, (Hon. . Sec. Dance Committee South Dunedin Unemployed Association.); , January IC. . •
