BOXING CONTEST
[Per United Press Association.] WAIPUKURAU, October 13. Last night Henry Donkin, of Havelock North, former provincial amateur representative, fought his first professional bout, being defeated by Jim Griffen, of Tahapau, in a close contest on points after it had gone the full ten rounds. Donkin will meet Clarrie Raynor at Blenheim next week.
