ANOTHER COMPETITOR KILLED GAR SOMERSAULTS IN FLAMES Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, September 17. The third tragedy at Brooklands within two days occurred when a car driven by M. Watson iu the 500 miles race, travelling at 90 miles an hour, somersaulted in flames. Watson was flung 20yds. He fractured his skull and was burned with the blazing petrol and died in hospital. His. wife witnessed the accident. The race was won by E, R. Hall on an M.G. Magnette at an average speed of 106.53 miles per hour. C. E, Martin on an M.G. Magna (92.24 miles) was second, and Cyril Paul on a Riley (88.87 miles) was third.
