MOSGIEL HIGH SCHOOL EX-PUPILS' CLUB

A meeting was held recently in the school gymnasium to form a club for ex-pupils since the re-establislimentof the secondary department in 1925. The principal of the secondary department, Dr Borraman, occupied the chair. It was decided that this club be. a branch of M.D.H.S. Ex-pupils’ Association, and that only ex-pupils who had attended the secondary department since 1925 be eligible for membership. The aim of the club is to arrange social and sports activities for its members and to bring country members into closer contact with tnose of the town. The subscription was fixed at 2s 6d annually. The opening event will be a danoe in St. Luke’s Hall on October 3. The secretary was instructed to circularise the ex-pupils. The election or office-bearers resulted:—Patron, Mr W. T. O. Kaye; president, Mr H. L. M'Kinnon; vice-presidents —Miss Coutts, Dr Borraman, Mr H. W. Black, Mr H. S. Dorrington; secretary, Miss H. Morgan; treasurer, Mr W. M Intosh; committee—Misses M. Morgan, N. Brown, P. Dyer, and Messrs It. M'Cunn, R. Frew, F. Carr, A. Johnstone.
